Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fond du Lac, WI

We LOVE The Country Inn and Suites in fond du lac. We’ve been staying here quite often over the last 2 plus years. All the staff members we have encountered are courteous and helpful and well informed with the area. If there ever is a need, the front desk staff is right on it day or night. Our rooms are Always Clean and Comfortable. Maid service is good. The pool/hot tub areas are great thanks to Kevin. Cheryl, our breakfast lady, has a huge variety of breakfast foods ready to go for the guests first thing in the morning. It’s been outstanding each and every stay of ours. Our girls can’t wait to get down there in the mornings for their chocolate waffles. Of course we are right behind them! And there’s fresh, hot coffee and cookies in the lobby day and night. Very nice of them I’d say. Everyone wants and expects a Clean, Friendly and Comfortable place to stay and The Country Inn is that and much more. Already looking forward to our next stay…Linda R.

Great place to drop your boots for an overnight or even just a few hours. Tucked away behind Loves truck stop making it accessible but quiet. Rolled in at 4am was able to grab a king suite for a few hours with a late check out. Nice and easy no hassle check in and check out.

Ita not the Hilton, so if that's what you are expecting then keep drivin!! Staff was super friendly and helpful, even i was a couple hours early they worked with me. My room was nice, doesn't rank high on the view( unless you consider loves truck stop romantic ) but for what i needed it was perfect. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a place dor the night .

I would definitely stay here again - overall a nice facility. Definitely in need of some updates but very comfortable - absolutely love the tub. If I was staying more than a night or two I would bring my own blanket. It's very close to Loves & the highway, but wasn't too loud. Front desk lady was new (she shared) but very kind and helpful =)

Made a last minute reservation while passing through on my way back from a work trip. I spoke to front desk directly and am so impressed with how Liz handled the call. She was courteous and so welcoming, even over the phone. She found me a room and connected my Choice account for me. Upon checking in, she welcomed me by name. I had never been to the property before but she was absolutely wonderful! I travel frequently for work and spent years in hospitality myself and she is a model employee when it comes to interacting with guests. She does her job well! This was my favorite part of the stay. The room itself was okay, but definitely needs some updates. The light above the whirlpool was falling out of the ceiling and the sheets had hair on them. While I wasn't impressed with the cleanliness of the room, it was a quick stay after a long day of travel. Breakfast was nice, the area itself was very clean and efficient. There was an array of scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, sausage, a pot of oatmeal, waffle makers, milk, juice, yogurt and assortment of baked goods. It's filling and I think is a little beyond a traditional continental breakfast. I would stay again if the rooms were done better. Overall, no frills, but excellent customer service! Decent size rooms. Free breakfast was decent, the usual free breakfast. No thermostat on the wall so old school guess and check or hope you set it right.

We stayed for two nights in March 2024 to attend a local sporting event. We selected the hotel due to price and having a pool for the student athletes. The location is not very close to much in Fond du Lac, making it inconvenient in that regard. Double queen room was fine, fair linens, bathroom items. Beds were relatively comfortable. The doors appeared thin, as we had a lot of hallway noise and from adjacent rooms. The breakfast was standard and acceptable. Basic eggs, potatoes, sausages, waffles, breads and cereal. The pool is a fair size, although the water did not appear very clean. Decent seating. The gym is limited to a couple treadmills and limited selection of free weights. Basic, but appreciated. Appeared as though it had not been cleaned in a week or longer, a fair amount of grit and dustballs.

Went right before the holiday and got the king suite with whirlpool in room. The room was amazing. The jacuzzi was clean and LARGE, fit me and my husband. Also had a regular shower in the bathroom. Checked out the pool and hot tub area which was nice and quiet. Beds were the softest bed I have slept on and I was able to spread out and relax. Woke up to enjoy a continental breakfast. Overall, had a great experience and looking to make it a pre-holiday tradition!!!
